About Fidrak
Fidrak LLC is an independent software company registered in the State of Wyoming, United States. We design, build, and operate a portfolio of consumer applications.
We are not a studio for hire, an agency, or a holding company. We make our own products, ship them under our own name, and run them ourselves.
The three areas
Habits. Not clinical software, and not another metrics dashboard. The interesting problem here is behavioural — the gap between what someone has decided to do and what they actually do on a Tuesday afternoon. Stopping something you have done ten thousand times is the hardest and clearest version of that problem.
Attention. How a person's mind settles, and what it takes. This is old territory, mostly handled for centuries by traditions that had no software. We are less interested in inventing a new practice than in getting out of the way of an existing one.
Travel. The part of travel worth building for is not the booking. It is everything the booking does not cover — deciding where, arriving somewhere without a plan, and the specific problem of being far from home.
These are where our work sits today. What decides whether a fourth area joins them is not whether the category looked open, but whether it passes the same test as the first three.
Narrowing is how a company this size gets any depth at all.
How we choose what to build
We start from a specific friction — something that is genuinely worse than it should be for a specific group of people — and we work backwards from there.
That is a slow way to find products. It also means we are never building something because a category looked crowded enough to be profitable.
Before we commit, we ask four questions:
- Is the problem real for someone other than us?
- Does it belong on the same list as what we already build, or are we drifting?
- Can a small team do this properly, or only adequately?
- Would we still want to be running this in five years?
If any answer is no, we do not build it.
How we build
We build with a small core team and heavy use of modern tooling, including AI-assisted engineering. This is not a novelty for us — it is what makes it possible for a company this size to design, ship, and operate multiple products at a standard that normally requires many more people.
The tooling changes what we can attempt. It does not change who is accountable. Every line that ships is reviewed by a person who understands it and will be the one to fix it.
